VAUJANY VILLAGE 

The 160 person cable in Vaujany will whisk you up the mountain in minutes. Alteratively the Villette Montfrais Gondola will speed you to the Monfrais ski area, where the main beginner slopes are found.

The Alpe d'Huez grand domaine covers 8 villages and has over 250km of marked slopes. It has fantastic facilities and slopes for beginners along with challenging skiing for the more advanced. It boasts the longest black run in Europe, the Sarenne is 16km long. f you want an amazing experience why not ski the Sarenne at night.

An EDF ski school is present in the village, offering private and group ski lessons for all levels. Other private operators are also available locally. 

There is an award winning nursery in the village which can offer care for younger children and can combine lunch and afternoon care with morning ski lessons at ESF.  

Although Vaujany is a quiet village it has a number of good restaurants and bars, plus a new cinema. There are plenty of hire shops and a supermarket. There is a speedy escalator system that operates through the town. There is also free covered car parking in the village. 

For a small village it has an amazing Sports and Leisure center which includes a 25m indoor pool with slide, sauna, hammam, spa and fitness room. There is also a full sized indoor ice rink and 4 lane bowling alley.
